Hi, I’m Viktoriana Sengkoen you can call me Tori. I’m from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. I start my work in Bali as a helper in a Villa  and had a bit trouble initially because of the language barrier.  After 20 years in Bali, speaking and understanding English gets easier with time.

It felt hard initially to leave my big family in Timor, yet for long time I want to try something different and I knew I would enjoy new opportunities. 

Now I am a mom with 2 children, and work part time at Jari Menari helping to cook for special events and as the female practitioner for requests. I have been part of Team Jari Menari for 16 years  as part of the team and I am never bored. I loved what I do cause when I start, I want it done nicely. And it feels like working at home.
