My name is Danu Saputra, please call me Danu. My family come from Banyuwangi in East Java but I was born in Bali in 1985 and I have lived here all my life. Bali is a good place to work because there are more job opportunities due to the tourism. I have been working at Jari Menari since 2007 and I am already married with two children. (Danu is married to one of the previous receptionists at Jari Menari). "My position is spa supervisor, I check on the practitioners when they start and finish work for the day and I make sure that everything is running well, and nothing is broken". When Danu first came to Jari Menari he didn"t speak English and he had no massage skills, but he embraced everything that Jari Menari had to offer, he trained in California based Esalen massage and he went to Phuket to do the pre-opening training for a new spa with the Jari Menari Team. He is a great teacher and always so appreciative of Jari Menari. "What I most love about my job are the challenges, and also learning about other cultures. We share our different knowledge and experience with each other, and we all love the togetherness. Ramadhan is a happy time at Jari Menari, at the end of the day I break my fast along with the other Muslims who work here. We pray together and after that we all have dinner together in the training center.
