Kadek (full name Ngakan Kadek Widiantara) is Balinese and hails from Bangli. "I was born in 1997 and I started working for Jari Menari as a Spa Practitioner since 2015, I had just graduated from high school and my brother, Gede, already worked at Jari Menari so he helped me to get the job. I give massages to the guests and I make sure it's a good massage so they will want to come back again. The thing that I love most about my job is when the guests are happy and when they come back for another massage and request me. I love being part of a team too, we are very close, like a family". Kadek says his most memorable experience at Jari Menari was when he got the chance to learn Esalen and met other students from Japan, America, China and Europe. Esalen massage can be distinguished by the type of strokes it uses to connect and unify the entire body. The aim is to induce deep relaxation, integrate mind and body, and enhance total body awareness. Another defining feature is that it is largely intuitive.
