Between eight and 12 million tons of plastic is dumped in the world's seas every year, and plastic waste is now at such a volume that vast eddies of current-bound plastic trash spin endlessly in the oceans. If current levels of pollution continue, there will be more plastic than fish in the seas by 2050.

Due to the importance of water for our overall health, replenishing this source of life is as important as the air that we breathe – especially in hot, tropical Bali. Ideally, to maintain a balanced hydration of our bodies at all times, we should drink small quantities of water throughout the day, but there's a massive problem with single-use plastic bottles. Worldwide, 2.7 million tons of plastic is used each year to make water bottles, and 80 percent of plastic bottles are NOT recycled.
